Baked Rice

Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2-4
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups Basmati rice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp dried chili
- 1 pinch of salt
- Chicken Stock
- 1 tbsp butter
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Wash the rice three times.
- Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and add the rice.
- Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and a sprinkle of chilli flakes, and mix together.
- Cover the rice with stock.
- Add the butter, place the lid on the saucepan and place into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rice absorbed all the liquid.
